Apple has introduced the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus and the Apple Watch, which Apple CEO Tim Cook called the “best iPhones” the company has ever produced and a game changer to wearables. Let’s see what others say about the iPhone:
The iPhone 6 Plus is 5.5 inches diagonally and the iPhone 6 is 4.7 inches, compared to the iPhone 5S size of 4 inches. The phones are thinner than ever: 6.9 mm for the iPhone 6 and 7.1 mm for the larger iPhone 6 Plus.
“Apple got more details right on their watch than the vast majority of Swiss and Asian brands do with similarly priced watches, and those details add up to a really impressive piece of design.”
The Apple Store has been unavailable for certain periods of time since the launch (for us, at least two hours), and those who have been able to access it have had problems actually going through with their order. Some also found that the 64GB and the 128GB iPhone 6 Plus models are unavailable.
After rumors and customer demand, Apple has finally given the people what they want: an iPhone 6 with a larger-than-4.5-inch screen. In fact, you’ll have a choice of two phones to consider, the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus.
Tim Cook believes the Apple Watch is the next game changing product in Apple‘s history—on the same level as the Mac, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad. While our reviews won’t come until early 2015, when the watch is set to go on sale, our first look on Tuesday suggests that this is, at the very least, the best looking smartwatch we’ve seen so far.
During its iPhone 6 launch event this morning, Apple announced the Apple Watch, its first foray into the world of wearable tech. It’s a smartwatch with inductive charging, a square face, sapphire glass, swappable bands, a heartbeat sensor and a rotating digital crown.
